Abstract

Carrying out communication networks or chains has been a trend since the first decades of sports coverage: whether in traditional media or during the emergence of digitalization. The purpose of this work is to investigate the case of collaboration between the broadcasters La Voz del Aire, from Uruguay, and Rádio Nacional, from Brazil, during the arrival of the Uruguayan delegation for the IV Men's Football World Cup. Based on the historical elements that make up this experience, it is possible to identify continuities and ruptures in comparison with online broadcasts on different platforms in contemporary times.
