Abstract

This article aims to share reflections on the methodology used in my doctoral thesis, defended at PPGCom-USP. To this end, I will point out epistemological and practical discussions about what I call 'decolonial and decolonizing educommunicative praxis'. The study proposed to discuss, critically, the presence of whiteness and colonialities in narratives of educators who teach in public primary schools in Johannesburg (South Africa), Maputo (Mozambique) and São Paulo (Brazil). Discourse and theme analyzes were also carried out and their procedures are presented in the text.
