Abstract

The article is an experience report from Brazilian university radio Paulo Freire, which turns 60 in 2023, analyzing how it reconfigured itself, reinventing its professional routines, formats and modes of circulation, to face misinformation about Covid-19. The AM broadcaster spilled over to social media, called on the audience to share its content, invested in different formats and joined forces with different groups in the fight against misinformation. The article is also a historical review so that experiences like this are not lost in reflections on radio, which is reconfiguring itself, remaining alive and increasingly firm.
