Abstract

The paper aims to analyze the strategies of transmission, content distribution and interaction with the audience undertaken by radio stations in the state of Ceará with multiplatform sports programming. We used three experiences as object of study: the programs Esportes do Povo (Rádio O POVO/CBN), Jogada (Rádio Verdinha FM) and Futebolês (Rádio Jangadeiro/Band News). Our theoretical framework is based on the concepts of Expanded Radio (KISCHINHEVKSY, 2016), hypermedia radio (LOPEZ, 2010) and Platformization (POELL, VAN DIJCK and NIEBORG, 2020). To carry out this study, we used the case study methodology (DUARTE, 2008) and data collection in the digital collection of the broadcasters. As a result, we conclude that sports coverage on the radio is increasingly visual, extrapolating its traditional base, which is only sound, incorporating different elements of the digital universe, such as podcasts and transmissions via streaming on platforms.
