Abstract

This text outlines aspects of the relationship between communication and work on digital platforms, focusing on the hashtag #produtividade on TikTok. The aim is to understand how the discourse of productivity, combined with a performativity of itself, manifests itself in this space, by analyzing 90 videos with this hashtag from March 6 to April 5, 2024. We observe a dilution of the boundaries between work and personal life, with routines planned with performance optimization. These aspects are discussed using a theoretical framework of reflections on the presentation of self and work in digital media.
