Abstract

This article aims to discuss the platform labour of digital influencers, specifically focusing on visibility labour. To achieve this goal, a theoretical discussion is presented, emphasizing the relationship between influencers, platforms, algorithmic systems, and their impacts on the construction of media visibility. Drawing from empirical examples of practices to "hack the algorithm," a matrix of digital influencers' visibility labour is proposed at the end.
