Abstract

I analyze the relationship between communication, labor and language in the Popular Food Supply System, an economic enterprise managed by workers from the Small Farmers Movement in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The literature review understands the homology between communication and work based on historical and dialectical materialism. The data was collected through action research, and its consolidation was carried out in a workshop with SAAP workers. The results point to an ethical dimension of work, in which the existence of norms and prescriptions coexists with renormalizations and adjustments to the prescribed work.
