Reflections on initiatives in the Global South, via China and Latin America, in the cultural industries sector and communication cooperation

Abstract

The paper presents reflections on initiatives and possibilities of the Global South, through China and Latin America, in the sector of cultural industries and in communication cooperation. The objective of this article is to analyze and systematize reflections on the experience of internationalization in the processes of production, distribution and access to cultural and communicational content based on the perception of actions taken and challenges located in the Global South taking into account the actions developed in Latin America and China. parameters associated with cultural industries can also be useful for scientific and academic cooperation as relations between China and Latin America in the field of communication sciences are limited.
