Abstract

This research analyzes the representations of ten advertisements from the campaign “Agro é tech, agro é pop, agro é tudo” over the past eight years, with the aim of identifying the main technical, political, and narrative aspects of the discourse in opposition to food production by family farming, peasant agriculture, and agrarian reform areas. The advertisements are described, and it is observed that agribusiness operates through the erasure of diversities, the silencing of consonant voices, and the alteration of its discourse over the years to engage with different audiences.
