The aim of this article is to reflect on how the mediatization of narratives regarding the health and safety of platform workers can exacerbate numerous other vulnerabilities shaped by intersectionalities. On the other hand, how the generative community can represent a practice of resistance, as exemplified by the experience of the “Elas por Elas Providência” Collective. To this end, we followed a methodological approach consisting of a literature review focused on the themes of gender and the precariousness of work, combined with in-depth interviews with women who both survive and struggle to change this scenario.
