Abstract

Renowned authors in the journalistic field gathered their reflections in the work Topics in journalism: writing and reporting, an important historical and social rescue of journalism, so that students and professionals can observe the practice as an instrument. The invitation to think about journalism in its plurality, from reflecting on the initial subject of a text, to the elements of graphic and editorial design, is also a stimulus to think about new forms of communication. The organizers Angela Zamin and Reges Schwaab divided the book into four parts, using direct and close language, with critical and assertive considerations of journalistic praxis. The work points out paths and shows how to go through them, especially in the current context, in which professionals increasingly prepared to work in the communication area are needed.
