Abstract

This article analyzes how information control is developed in 10 digital platforms for mediating work in communication activities. It analyzes: 1. the contradictions surrounding information in work relationships mediated by digital platforms; 2. the asymmetry of information about the working relationship in datified environments; 3. control through data collection; 4. gamified evaluation systems. In terms of research methods, we opted for the case study approach (Yin, 2001), considering their social logic (Herscovici, 2009) and work processes (Braverman, 1998).
